Biography

I completed my undergraduate degree in English Education at Ohio University.  I am a licensed professional ski instructor, a certified soccer official with FIFA, have played soccer in Andorra, Wales and Mexico and have led mountain biking excursion for a summer in New Jersey and New York.  I continued my education in the small town of Cadiz in Andalucía where I obtained my TESOL certification.

I have had the privilege of living and working in a variety of places, ranging from small towns in Mexico to some of the most beautiful cities in Europe. I have held an array of positions around the world that have allowed me to work with numerous types of people and gain invaluable experience.

During my current tenure at Clear Creek High School in Evergreen, Colorado, I have undertaken a variety of responsibilities in addition to teaching English to sophomores through seniors.  I am currently the varsity soccer coach, negotiating spokesman for the district salary committee, department chair, school wide writing assessment coordinator, new teacher mentor, technology committee representative and tour leader for international learning experiences.

I currently reside in Evergreen, Colorado, with my wonderful wife of six years.  Weekends are filled with hiking, skiing, snowshoeing and enjoying the serene beauty of the mountains.
